A forest fire is ravaging 120 hectares near Morthomiers, in the Cher department. A Seveso site and a number of homes have been evacuated as the flames spread.

More than 25 wildfires were reported on Tuesday on feuxdeforet.fr, fuelled by the heatwave. Hundreds of firefighters are battling the flames on several fronts, in extreme conditions.
