Collioure (66)

A fire is currently burning along the D914, the road linking Argelès to Collioure. The road is closed in both directions to allow emergency services access. Around sixty firefighters are tackling the blaze, which appears to be intense due to strong winds. They are being supported by five Canadair aircraft. At present, we do not yet know the area affected, whilst the fire continues to spread! Update: fire extinguished – 10 hectares are reported to have been burnt!
