UPDATE AT 6.00 pm: Fire still burning; 15 hectares have already been burnt! UPDATE AT 2.50 pm: The fire has already spread across 12 hectares and destroyed part of a composting plant. The plant’s electrical systems have been protected. The fire is still spreading and is threatening the car scrapyard in Elne. More information to follow!
