Banon (04)

A fire has been reported near the town of Banon (04) in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department. Two GIFF units and four ‘Pélicans’ have just been deployed to the site of this pine forest fire to prevent the flames from spreading. Update at 2.30 pm: The fire is now reportedly under control and is being extinguished by the fire service. For your safety, please avoid the area.
