Baixas (66)

A fire broke out shortly before 2 pm in the area around the Sainte-Catherine Chapel in Baixas. (66) UPDATE: At 4 pm, the fire was brought under control. 160 firefighters are still at the scene, supported by three Canadair aircraft and a water-bombing helicopter. The spread of the flames is currently contained, although the fire has already consumed 20 hectares of vegetation. Fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries.
