A wildfire has been reported near Calenzana in the Argentella area, south of Calvi in Corsica (2B).

Numerous ground and air resources have been deployed, including the UIISC7 unit, which is currently en route.
Two Canadair aircraft, two Tracker aircraft, one GIFF and one SIFF are on site.
Winds of over 50 km/h from the south-west are making the firefighters’ task on the ground more difficult. Emergency services fear the fire may spread rapidly.
No homes are under threat.
6.00 pm: the fire is reportedly under control. Between 4 and 5 hectares are thought to have been burnt.
