A fire has been reported in the commune of Espira-de-L’Agly (66), in the Pyrénées-Orientales department.
For your safety, please avoid the area. Three GIFF units and one suburban fire brigade are on the scene; in terms of aerial resources, there are two Canadair aircraft. The fire front is approximately one hundred metres wide; homes are under threat; the fire is spreading up a slope; several hundred hectares are at risk. Six hectares have already been burnt. The fire appears to have been extinguished; smoke is much less visible and the fire is no longer spreading. The total area burnt is unknown.Espira-de-l’Agly (66)
