Narbonne (11)

A fire has been reported in the municipality of Narbonne (11), in the area known as Chemin de la Couleuvre in the Massif de la Clape, in the Aude department. For your safety, please avoid the area. Firefighters are on the scene, along with two trackers, four Canadair aircraft and the Milan helicopter. This is a pine forest fire on an uphill slope which is spreading rapidly. The situation is currently unfavourable. The fire is spreading along the right flank. The fire is spreading unchecked along the leading edge and the right flank. As of 3.30 pm, the spread has been halted and dousing operations are underway.
