A 29-year-old firefighter was injured on Tuesday morning at around 10 am in an accident involving his water tanker. According to our information, his vehicle overturned in the town of Lauris, in the Vaucluse (84).
According to our colleagues at the Dauphiné Libéré, 48 hours after the accident, officers from the National Gendarmerie are still searching for a white vehicle. According to the same source, based on witness statements, this car veered into the left-hand lane. The firefighter swerved to avoid a collision before ending up in the ditch. He had to be cut free by his colleagues and was taken to hospital in Cavaillon.
