According to our colleagues at the Dauphiné Libéré, 48 hours after the accident, officers from the National Gendarmerie are still searching for a white vehicle. According to the same source, based on witness statements, this car veered into the left-hand lane. The firefighter swerved to avoid a collision before ending up in the ditch. He had to be cut free by his colleagues and was taken to hospital in Cavaillon.
