9.19 pm - The fire is reportedly under control, thanks to the efforts of around 40 firefighters from SDIS 66 at the scene. Its spread has therefore been halted.
8.50 pm - A fire has broken out near the Rivesaltes North toll booth, not far from the Mazet company. A forest fire response team – comprising four fire engines and a command vehicle – has been called in as backup.
8.45 pm - Fire alongside the A9 motorway. Patrol officers and gendarmerie on the scene. Firefighters from SDIS 66 are tackling the blaze.
