A fire has been reported in the town of Agde (34) in the department of the Hérault. The fire is situated along the D612A road, which links Bessan to the A9 motorway. This road is now closed to trafficn. Around 40 firefighters and aerial resources are also involved.

The fire has now been extinguished; at the height of the blaze, around sixty firefighters and aerial resources were deployed. The fire spread across 18 hectares between Bessan, Agde and Vias, destroying several caravans.
