Two fires have been reported in the commune of St Jean de la Blaquière in the Hérault department.
The fire brigade is on its way. A Forest Fire Response Team and one water-bombing helicopter have been dispatched to the scene.
13:33: Around 220 firefighters are tackling the blaze, supported by aerial resources from the Civil Protection and the departmental fire service. The fire is spreading slowly but unchecked.
13:00: A Dash and two Canadair aircraft are sent as reinforcements; the fire has spread across 7 hectares
12.03: One GIFF and one Morane are at the scene
11.52 am: Two fires have been reported in the commune of Saint-Jean-de-la-Blaquière.
12.45: Four GIFFs and two Air Tractors are on site.
7 hectares have already been burnt.
3.45 pm: Three Canadair aircraft and two Dash aircraft are deployed.
5.50 pm: 10 to 12 hectares burnt.
