A forest fire broke out late on Thursday afternoon in the town of Saint-Sauveur, in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department. Significant resources have been deployed to the scene. Two departments were called in to provide reinforcements on Friday afternoon, namely Moselle and Vosges.
Yesterday, according to our information, the damage was reported to have affected around ten hectares. On his Facebook page, the SDIS 54 would like to remind the public that burning waste and using fire outside the areas designated for this purpose are strictly prohibited.
