A wildfire has been reported in the commune of Vert, in the Landes department. At least 10 hectares have been destroyed, according to an initial assessment at 3.30 pm.
Aerial resources currently deployed to tackle the fires in Gironde have been diverted to the scene in an attempt to limit the spread of this emerging fire.
