A forest fire has been burning since around 2.30 pm near Rougon, in the Alpes-de-Hautes-Provence department.
The emergency services are on the scene.
Firefighters from the Var region have been called in as reinforcements, supported by the Civil Protection’s Milan 75 helicopter.

The holidaymakers evacuated from the campsite have been accommodated in the sports hall and the village hall in Castellane.
