A fire has been reported in the town of Lugos, in the Gironde department (33).
The Gironde fire brigade, supported by a reinforcement unit comprising various neighbouring SDIS services, quickly arrived on the scene.
The fire was declared under control at around 10 pm. According to initial estimates, the flames had spread across 5 hectares of vegetation.
