According to Météo-France, in particular via its forest weather map, the risk of forest fires in France is currently moderate to low in most regions. However, the Pyrénées-Orientales are an exception, with the risk being high in four out of nine areas.

The current weather conditions, with relatively low temperatures and regular rainfall, have helped to reduce the risk of fires in France. The authorities have also put in place prevention and monitoring measures to minimise the risks.

However, in the Pyrénées-Orientales, where the drought is more severe, the risks are higher, particularly in four areas identified as being the most vulnerable.
