A major wildfire is currently raging in the commune of Astet in the Ardèche department. A large number of resources have been deployed; please ensure they have unobstructed access.

8.00 am - Between 20 and 30 hectares have been burnt, according to the latest figures. Reinforcements from neighbouring departments are expected to arrive on site.
MONDAY 21 AUGUST
8.00 pm - 10 hectares have been destroyed by the fire so far. Around a hundred firefighters are at the scene.
