A major fire has been reported in the town of Astet (07).
For your own safety, please avoid the area and ensure that the emergency services can gain access.
FOLLOW-UP:
8.00 pm - Once the fire has been brought under control, it will have spread over 30 hectares.
5.30 pm - The fire has swept across 30 hectares but is now being brought under control thanks to the efforts of the fire service and the Civil Protection’s aerial resources.
3.30 pm - The fire has so far affected 25 hectares. More than a hundred firefighters and Civil Protection personnel are at the scene.
1.40 pm - We are receiving numerous alerts via our Feux de Forêt app. A large number of SDIS 07 resources are on the scene.
