A fire is currently burning in the commune of Saint-Privat, in the hamlet of La Bruyère des Salces, in the Hérault department.

9.30 pm: Area of land burnt revised upwards to 10 hectares
8.30 pm: Fire brought under control. An estimated 20 hectares have been burnt. More than a hundred firefighters are on the scene.
7.50 pm: The fire is still burning; the two Dash-8s have carried out drops to create a retardant barrier. Five GIFFs, three Dash-8s and five Canadairs are deployed at the scene. The chief of the Hérault fire service is travelling to the scene.
7.00 pm: Civil protection air assets are on the scene; around 100 hectares of vegetation are under threat
6.20 pm: Fire reported; approximately 1 hectare has already been affected
