A fire has been reported in the town of Mios (33).
For your own safety, please avoid the area and ensure that the emergency services can gain access.
FOLLOW-UP:
11.00 pm - By the time the fire was out, it had spread across 2 hectares of pine forest.
9.00 pm - The fire has been brought under control; the air assets are returning to base.
8.10 pm - The fire has been reported as under control.
7.45 pm - Initial reports indicate that between 2 and 3 hectares have been burnt. Milan aircraft are currently carrying out aerial drops.
7.10 pm - A major fire has broken out in the town of Mios; resources from SDIS 33 and aerial support are on the scene.
