The Saumos fire remains active but contained. Firefighters are continuing their efforts to combat a blaze that has now stabilized but remains under constant surveillance.
Key facts:

have been burned since the fire began.

were reported today. All were quickly brought under control thanks to the coordinated efforts of ground crews and aerial resources.
